Description

A hydrocyclone desander is a physical filtration device that uses centrifugal force to separate sand particles from liquids. Its core functions are sand removal, turbidity reduction, and solid-liquid separation, making it suitable for applications in water treatment, industrial mineral processing, and other fields.
The hydrocyclone desander works by introducing water tangentially to create a high-speed vortex, utilizing the density difference between sand particles and the liquid for separation: denser sand particles settle to the bottom under centrifugal force and are discharged, while clean water flows out from the top overflow outlet. Key parameters include:
Treatment effect: Sand removal diameter > 0.1mm, effluent turbidity ≤ 10 NTU, head loss < 0.02MPa.
Operating conditions: Inlet pressure ≥ 0.25MPa (higher pressure results in higher sand removal rate), applicable temperature 0-135℃, raw water turbidity ≤ 300 NTU.
Efficiency characteristics: Sand removal rate 90%-96%, supports multiple units in parallel to increase processing capacity (e.g., single unit processing capacity 20-2520 m3/h).
